Northern Lights Again

Some wifes have husbands that go out to bars at night. Mine has to worry about me getting up at midnight and if the aurora forecast is good…I am out the door…depending on weather and if I have to work the next day.
These were captured last night. I was even able to captue a shooting star in the last photo!

2011 Iditarod

Today was the start of the 2011 Iditarod. The restart as it is called is held in Willow. It used to be held in my hometown of Wasilla, but they moved it a few years back. I was at the actual start last year and it was way too crowded for me. Decided to head down the trail a little way.
