Iditarod Ceremonial Start

Today was the ceremonial start of the Iditarod in Anchorage. Of course Meg and I were downtown before the start and then went out on the trail to watch the mushers go by. This is a fun day for the mushers and the crowd. Lots of smiles and tail wags!

Jamaican Musher Newton Marshall

Today was the ceremonial start of the Iditarod in Anchorage. This year Jamaican musher Newton Marshall is back. I always make it a point to seek him out, he has such a great personality and always has a smile. It just happened to be his birthday too. Here are a couple photos.
